Residents of Albury Electorate: Vote by 15 August for Thurgoona Men’s Shed projects

Hi all … this is a call out for you to vote for the Albury Women’s Shed and Thurgoona Men’s Shed submissions for Community Grants for:

  1. Solar Panels
  2. Tank water supply for gardens
  3. Undercover disabled persons access to the Men’s Shed

To vote go to: https://mycommunityproject.service.nsw.gov.au/

You will be asked to create an account with password to vote. It is an easy process, took me approximately 5 minutes to go to the site, set up the account and vote.

Please vote as suggested above.

WHY VOTE? – These projects are to improve the facilities at the Thurgoona Men’s Shed. By the end of the year the Albury Women’s Shed and Thurgoona Men’s Shed will be sharing premises. So these projects will assist both organisations, reduce running costs to all members of both organisations, reduce the environmental impact of the Shed overall and improve access to the Shed for those with physical challenges.

As this is a Community grant you need to be living in the Albury Electorate to vote.

Thank you for taking the time.

We had a great day and we would like to thank everyone who assisted with cooking and sales. And all the people who purchased a sausage in a piece of bread. Thanks everyone.

Cuttings & Cuppa afternoon

Hi all. The Albury Women’s Shed is looking to have a cuttings sale as part of an open day later in the year, possibly Oct or November. Could everyone who is interested start the process of taking cuttings. I know this is late notice. Still worth a try! Thank you.
